Teaching Information Systems at GUC opens up a business perspective
on information processing and the corporate technical infrastructure.
Students learn to assess the technical, economic and social aspects
of IS and obtain the basic knowledge for managing successful IS
projects.
Research on Information Systems at GUC explores the
potentials of latest information technology developments for
servicing the objectives of organizations and their management.
Fields of research include service flow management, semantic web,
e-government & e-business, enterprise systems, and business
intelligence.
